1. Introduction

The following Privacy Policy applies to all BlissArte (“BlissArte”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) websites, products, and supplementary services, including support, marketing, and advertising services (“Services”). This Privacy Policy addresses how data you transmit to us in using our Services (“User Data”) is collected, used, and disclosed.

Your access, download, and/or usage of any of our Services requires your acceptance of our Terms of Service, which incorporates this Privacy Policy and all data collection, usage, and disclosure practices outlined within it.

You must not use our Services if you do not meet all of the requirements outlined in the Terms of Service or otherwise do not agree to the Terms of Service or this Privacy Policy. If you have used our Services and do not meet the age requirements outlined in the Terms of Service or know of anyone else that has used our Services and does not meet the age requirements outlined in the Terms of Service, please contact us at privacy@blissarte.com so that we can remove any relevant information we may have collected.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, and in doing so will notify you by updating the Last Modified section of this Privacy Policy. We may also notify you of updates to this Privacy Policy through our available Services.

2. Personal Information

User Data is collected from you whenever you interact with our Services. Generally, this information cannot be used to directly identify you, but we may collect personally-identifiable information (“Personal Information”) that you directly provide to us or otherwise make available to us. This includes collection of any Personal Information made available through:

  • use of our support services
  • communication with or other interactions with our social media presences
  • linking a social media account within one or more of our Services
  • third party companies that have your consent or a legal right to share Personal Information with us

Please note that you will be informed of what Personal Information you are making available to us when linking a social media account by the third-party social media service that hosts your account.

Personal Information we collect may include:

  • your first and last name
  • your age
  • your gender
  • your email address
  • your country or region
  • records of any communications between you and BlissArte via any of our Services
  • records of any Content, as described in the Terms of Service, that originates from you within any of our Services
  • information made available through your interactions with our social media presences
  • any information shared with us by third party companies that have your consent or a legal right to share Personal Information with us, which may include your interests and third party services, websites, applications or games that you use any additional information set forth within this Privacy Policy

We cannot access credit card or other Personal Information relating to payments that you supply to the third-party payment processors we use within our Services, and will not request or collect any such data.

3. User Data

Other User Data that we collect during your interaction with our Services includes the following:

  • device-specific information (“Device Data”), including your device model, operating system and version, advertising identifier, IP address, mobile network information, and time zone and language settings
    • advertising identifier refers to the Google Advertising ID on Android devices, and ID For Advertising (“IDFA”) or ID For Vendor (“IDFV”) on iOS devices
  • information pertaining to your use of the Services (“Service Usage Data”), including which Services you use, when you access them, what browsers and/or devices you use to access them, and the ways in which you interact with the Services transactional information provided by third-party payment processors

4. Usage

We collect Personal Information and User Data for a variety of reasons; please review the following sections for information on how we use the information that we collect.

Technical Uses

User Data collection helps us provide stable experiences and ensure our Services are fully functional.

  • Device Data is used in conjunction with logs, error reports, and crash reports to repair and verify the integrity of our Services.
  • Device Data is used to optimize our Services’ performance characteristics on a per-device basis.
  • Device Data is used to test new features and/or content within our Services.
  • Device Data and transactional information is used to validate purchases you make with third-party payment processors and apply those purchases.

Analytical Uses

We aggregate Service Usage Data and utilize third-party analytics tools to:

  • improve the overall experience of using our Services for all users
  • refine existing features and content within our Services
  • determine where to focus our efforts when providing users with new Services, or new features and content within our existing Services
  • offer users enhanced or customized Services to encourage real money purchases

Device Data is used to attribute user actions directly to promotional or advertising campaigns. We currently use analytics tools provided by the following analytics partners:

  • Facebook
  • Google
  • Unity

Experience Customization Uses

We use Personal Information and Service Usage Data to tailor your experiences within our Services and provide you with special offers or promotions within our Services that may be relevant to your interests.

We use Device Data to provide advertising within our games that is relevant to your interests. Device Data may be sent to third-party advertising partners in order to provide you with advertising that is relevant to your interests.

We currently use the following advertising partners and tools:

  • AdMob
  • Facebook

Social Service Uses

Some of our Services offer you the ability to connect your Facebook account to the Service to enhance your experience.

Connecting your Facebook account to one or more of our Services will provide us with the Personal Information outlined during the Facebook connection process within the Service(s) that you are connecting to. This includes public profile information outlined by Facebook here.

You can disconnect your Facebook account from any of our Services at any time. Facebook friends of yours that also use and are connected to the Services may still see some of the information outlined below within our Services until you revoke the app permissions you have granted to our Services through Facebook’s settings. Note that disconnecting from Facebook will not disassociate existing Service-related data from your Facebook Identifier. Please contact us at privacy@blissarte.com if you wish for us to completely remove all data associated with your Facebook account.

Our Services may use the Personal Information made available through the Facebook connection process in the following ways:

  • Facebook Identifier
    • Our Services may associate your Facebook Identifier to your Service-specific accounts. This allows you to use the same account(s) on multiple devices and provides you with a way to retrieve your data if you lose access to one or more of the devices you use to interact with our Services. This is also used to allow you and your friends that use the same Services to interact with each other within the Services.
  • Profile Picture
    • Your profile picture may be displayed as the avatar associated with you within the Services. This avatar may be visible to other users at various times within the Services.
  • Name
    • Your name may be displayed in association with your avatar within the Services. Your name may be visible to other users at various times within the Services.

Our Services will not have the ability to post content, send messages, or otherwise modify your Facebook account, and will never attempt to do so. Our Services may provide you with the ability to share content to your connected Facebook account at your own discretion.

Social Media Uses

We use our social media presences to indirectly communicate with users of our Services that choose to visit our accounts on social media websites and/or applications. We may also record or use your Personal Information on social media in the following ways:

  • We may respond to or otherwise communicate directly with you as a result of your interactions with our social media presences.
  • We may repost or otherwise reuse Content, as described in the Terms of Service, originating from you that you share with our social media presences; additionally, we or the social media services that we are present on may attribute our reuse of the Content to you.

Support Service Uses

We may keep records of and use any Personal Information and/or User Data you provide to us through any of our support services in order to:

  • communicate with you about your support requests
  • provide support to you within one or more Services
  • maintain records in order to readily address identical or similar support requests and/or analyze our support methodologies and performance

Marketing Uses

We may use your Personal Information and User Data to promote our Services to you:

  • through third parties, including third-party websites, applications, and games
  • within one or more of our own Services that you interact with

We currently use marketing tools and services provided by the following marketing partners:

  • Facebook
  • Google

We may use your Personal Information and User Data for the following legal purposes:

  • to prevent and/or identify breaches of the Terms of Service by any of our users
  • to prevent fraudulent activity within any of our Services
  • to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights
  • to comply with any applicable laws

5. Privacy Rights

You and all other users of our Services have the following rights in relation to how we collect, use, and disclose your data. Note that we may deny part or all of your request if it is unreasonable, fraudulent, or otherwise cannot be verified as originating from the user that the request is for.

Right to be Informed

You have the right to know how all of your Personal Information and User Data is used. This Privacy Policy explains all of the ways in which your Personal Information and User Data is used; if you have any further questions regarding how your data is used, please contact us.

Right of Access

You have the right to access any and all Personal Information and User Data we have pertaining to you. We will provide you with a copy of such data at your request.

Right of Rectification

You have the right to ensure that all Personal Information and User Data we have pertaining to you is complete and correct. We will correct any such information that you believe to be incorrect at your request.

Right to Erasure

In some circumstances, you have the right to have your Personal Information and User Data deleted at your request. If you wish to make the removal of such information permanent, then you must first cease to use all of our Services and remove all of our applications from all of your devices that they are installed on; continued use of our Services may result in some or all of your Personal Information and User Data being re-transmitted to us.

Right to Restrict Processing

In some circumstances, such as if you are contesting the accuracy of some or all Personal Information and User Data pertaining to you, you may exercise the right to restrict our processing of your data. Please note that exercising this right does not impact our storage of any such data.

Right to Data Portability

In some circumstances, you have the right to request that we transmit any Personal Information that you have directly provided to us to another data controller, or request a copy of your Personal Information that you can then provide to another data controller.

Right to Object

In some circumstances, you can object to our processing of your Personal Information and User Data. Depending on the grounds on which you are objecting, we may or may not deem it appropriate to honor your objection.

Your Personal Information and User Data is processed by us under one or more of the following legal bases of the General Data Protection Regulation:

This legal basis is in effect when you utilize our Services on one or more of your devices, and covers both the collection of Personal Information and/or User Data from your devices and storage of said data on your devices. Your consent can be withdrawn by ceasing to use our Services and removing all of our applications from all of your devices.

Contractual Necessity

This legal basis is in effect when referring to Personal Information and/or User Data that we must use in order to provide you with one or more Services; examples of Services that require such data are our support services and third-party social network features present within our Services.

This legal basis is in effect when referring to Personal Information and/or User Data that we must use in order to comply with any applicable laws.

Legitimate Interests

This legal basis is in effect when referring to Personal Information and/or User Data that we may use with respect to our legitimate business interests that are not harmful to your privacy. These use cases are outlined in the Usage section of this Privacy Policy.

7. Data Retention

We retain collected Personal Information and/or User Data for as long as is required for us to both provide our Services to you and continue providing and improving our Services to other users. We may retain such data for a longer period of time if we have any outstanding legal obligation to do so. Please note that retained data may be disclosed or transferred to a third party as a result of an acquisition, liquidation, or other conclusion of our business affairs.
